# Review
The three design groups from Chinese Culture University share some common characteristics: they all develop from relatively simple basic elements rather than complex structural relationships. Frames formed by individual rods serve as a visually dominant element, creating an overall impression of lightness and void for the volume. In addition, their feasibility in terms of fabrication seems relatively high, appearing quite achievable. However, some curves might require prestressing or heat bending. If heat bending is used, achieving the precise appearance shown in the design drawings presents certain difficulties. An interesting aspect of the work is that we previously held a bamboo construction workshop for students, and I clearly remember that students from Culture University made a lounge chair like this. They integrated that lounge chair into this design, multiplying and stacking it in quantity to appear within it, which I find quite interesting. (By Pei-Hsien Hsu)

Three groups look like they are experimenting with the composition of a certain structure, and the feasibility is very high. However, it seems to stop at structural plausibility. What should be focused on next? For example, focusing on the aesthetic sense formed by the structure, or why bamboo is used to make this structure, and what differences can be highlighted compared to wood? The work is developed by extending from a bamboo chair, but if Instructor Hsu hadn't explained that it was a project unit from your workshop, I might have felt that it was purely decorative and somewhat redundant. I feel that beyond the structure, the components you want to emphasize could have another focal point to strengthen them, so as to break away from the feeling of a structural design experiment.
